I saw Ringo and his All Stars with Todd Rundren! I can’t remember who else. It was a blast and he’s a generous performer, as is Paul McCartney, who I have seen a few times, always great.

I am thrilled to be able to see even a fraction of The Beatles, my favorite band of all time. Thanks for the review and Happy Father’s Day!! (And kudos to Robin for a great gift!)

Yeah, it's always great to see those guys! And yes, Robin outdid herself with this one.

Eric... another fine post! I caught most of the greats performing but missed a few. I recently saw Herb Alpert mezmerize a full house; he's 91 and didn't miss a beat!

That's awesome. I'll bet Alpert put on a great show.

Coolest 91 year old.. more than I'll ever be.

Yes, thanks for sharing— I caught a similar incarnation of Ringo and his All-Stars at the Greek way back in 2019, when he was still a young lad on the cusp of turning 80… Pure joy!… Long live Ringo!…

By the time he's 100, I bet he'll really be good!

Great stuff! I saw Ringo’s All Star Band at the Greek in 1989 … Joe Walsh, Nils Lofgren, Clarence Clemons, Dr. John, Billy Preston, Rick Danko, Levon Helm and others. Fabulous show. I saw Paul & Wings in Detroit in 1977 and Paul alone at Live Eight in Hyde Park, London, in 2005. Also fabulous.

Sounds like some great shows! I saw McCartney at a PETA benefit on the Paramount lot. I was actually leaning against the stage. He was great, but no Beatles songs.

Unbelievable how spry that guy is for almost 86. Go Ringo.

What, don't you think Trump could do all that too?

I’d pay money to see him try.
