A post-chat post
We'll fix it in post
My chat guest Tom Shroder and I just finished our livestream conversation a little while ago, and once again, I had a few technical issues. I’d love to hear from anyone who tried to log in but couldn’t, or from those who did indeed join us but were unable to post questions and comments.
The conversation was a lot of fun — for Tom and me at least — and you should all check it out as soon as you can. When you do, you might want to skip the first 88 seconds of us trying to figure out what’s going on and go right for the more important nonsense that follows.
Here’s a poorly edited clip from Substack itself, just to give you a taste. I’ll try to get some better clips posted later.

I just watched the whole interview. Interesting look-back on a storied career. I was surprised that you didn't mention Tom's book "Acid Test". It was a fascinating read about the early research into MDMA treatment for PTSD. And Rick Doblin, one of the key figures in that book, who founded MAPS -- the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies -- was the subject of a story Tom wrote for the Alligator way back when. Doblin hand-built a very unique house in Sarasota, and I shot the photos for the story.
where is the rest? I got about a minute.
